Dr Alexander Gin brings a rare combination to aesthetic medicine: dermatology training and fellowship at specialist level from both Australia and the United Kingdom, paired with years spent observing and training alongside leading aesthetic practitioners across the world’s most advanced clinics. That international perspective, combined with his own rigorous, hands-on assessment of the latest laser and energy-based technologies, shaped the treatment philosophy and clinical direction behind Aecera: a considered, evidence-led approach that treats skin as a long-term system rather than a set of features to correct.
Dr Louis Chan

Dr Louis Chan brings a genuinely holistic foundation to aesthetic medicine, having trained and practised first as a general practitioner before undertaking specialist fellowship training in dermatology. That grounding means every aesthetic treatment plan he develops considers the whole patient, not just the skin concern in front of him, drawing on years of general practice experience alongside deep specialist dermatological expertise. Within dermatology, laser treatment for a wide range of skin conditions has been a particular area of focus, giving him a level of technical precision and clinical judgement that carries directly across into the laser and energy-based treatments offered at Aecera. He holds Fellowship of the Australasian College of Dermatologists and Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, alongside a Bachelor of Applied Science in Physiotherapy, a Master of Public Health, and a Diploma of Child Health.
Dr Sarah Gamboni

Dr Sarah Gamboni brings a skin-health-first approach to aesthetic medicine, helping patients care for their skin and appearance in ways that support confidence and wellbeing. She does this through subtle, considered treatment recommendations addressing concerns such as fine lines, pigmentation, redness and textural changes, and has particular expertise in prescription injectable treatments for dynamic lines and facial rejuvenation.
This aesthetic medicine work sits alongside her ongoing practice as a general dermatologist, with placements at The Alfred Hospital and The Royal Women’s Hospital. Her broader clinical interests include acne, psoriasis, eczema and women’s health, a foundation that carries through to the same careful approach she brings to aesthetic treatment.
She holds Fellowship of the Australasian College of Dermatologists.

That clinical grounding in how the body genuinely ages, rather than how it merely appears to, informs a holistic and safe approach that few practitioners in aesthetic medicine can draw on. She has since built her aesthetic expertise through learning directly from practitioners at the forefront of the field, alongside numerous accredited courses across Australia in laser and injectable treatments. Clara remains committed to ongoing education, ensuring her patients benefit from the latest evidence-based techniques and advances in aesthetic medicine.
